During the Mid-Winter Recess complete the following assignment:

Part One:

Read the section called "Subjunctive with negation or denial" on p. 108 of your ¡Exprésate! textbook. Write out Exercise 19 (La vida universitaria) on p. 108, and Exercise 20 (¿Qué crees?) on the top of p. 109.

Part Two:

On pp. 110-111 of your ¡Exprésate! textbook translate the four reading found therein: (1. "Quien no oye consejos no llega lejos" 2. "Zaida" 3. "Rafael" and 4. "Estudiar en el extranjero"). Also, answer the six questions on p. 111 (Para Comprender). Make sure that you write both the questions and the answers.

Part Three:

On pp. 112-113 write down all the Spanish Vocabulary words and expressions (the words in green text) and translate these into English.

This assignment is to be hand-written on loose-leaf with either black or blue ink, and not a mixture of the two. Make sure that you staple all pages of your work before you get to class. On the due date there will be a quiz on the vocabulary section of this assignment. No books, notes, or homework may be used for this quiz.
